The 2022 Cinch Timed Event Championship lived up to its wild, wonderful Ironman of ProRodeo self, and did not disappoint in the dramatic and sentimental storyline departments. To take it from the top, Navajo Nation cowboy sensation Erich Rogers earned his first Timed Event title in nine tries. Three-time CTEC Champ Daniel Green decided during his 25th trip to the Timed Event that it would be his last, and left it all in that Lazy E Arena before thanking the fans to one sweet final standing ovation. Missouri cowboy Clay Clayman ushered in a new era in the Jr Ironman by cashing the first-ever $20,000 champion’s check, thanks to a doubling down of the stakes by the World Champions Rodeo Alliance.

Tacy Kay Webb Wins the Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo To Be In Contention To Be the First Victor of the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo $1 Million Bonus

FORT WORTH, Texas – As the event was down to one eligible athlete in the Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR) at the Dec. 18 Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo, breakaway roping had the fans inside the Cowtown Coliseum on the edge of their seats. Tacy Kay Webb, the 24-year-old ICU Nurse was the undeniable star of the rodeo, delivering what would be the most groundbreaking performance of the event. As only one of two athletes remaining TCR eligible in the final round of competition, her 2.49-second effort elevated her to a $12,500 payday. For Webb, fresh off her win at July’s Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo, the event marked her second consecutive WCRA Major, putting her in contention to be a millionaire. If Webb triumphs at May’s Rodeo Corpus Christi, she will be the first victor of the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo $1 Million Bonus.

Riley Webb Wins Rodeo Corpus Christi to Put Him in Contention To Be The Youngest Millionaire in the History of Rodeo

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – As the event was down to one eligible athlete in the Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR) at May 9 Rodeo Corpus Christi, tie-down roping had the fans inside American Bank Center on the edge of their seats throughout the jaw-dropping run where Riley Webb (Decatur, Texas) Riley Webb prevailed. The 17-year-old Riley Webb was the undeniable star of the rodeo, delivering what would be the most groundbreaking performance of the event. As only one of two athletes remaining TCR eligible in the TCR round (short round), his 7.03-second effort elevated him to a $12,500 payday. For Webb, fresh off his win at August’s Stampede at the E, the event marked his second consecutive WCRA Major, putting him in contention to be the youngest millionaire in the history of rodeo. 2021 Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo Payout and Format Announced

The WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) in partnership with Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo (DO47) is excited to announce the format and payout for the 2021 event. The DO47 will play host to the second stop of the WCRA’s Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR) during the 2021 series and will have a payout $562,500. Each champion will walk away with a minimum of $25,000 and a coveted DO47 Gold Medal.

Five Women Crowned Women’s Rodeo World Champions in AT&T Stadium at Inaugural Event

In front of electrifying crowds inside AT&T Stadium, five women became the first in history to claim the coveted title of Women’s Rodeo World Champion and took home a minimum of $60,000 each. The seven-day $750,000 equal money championship event dished out equal money to the 254 entered athletes, paying an average of $2400 per check.

17-Year-Old Riley Webb Defeats No.1 Ranked Tie-Down Roper Shad Mayfield

As the first discipline of the Stampede at The E, bareback riding had the fans inside Lazy E Arena on the edge of their seats throughout the action-packed night where contenders prevailed. After Jake Brown (Cleveland, Texas) and Orin Larsen (Inglis, Manitoba) advanced to the showdown round tied courtesy of matching 86.5-point rides, the two quickly became immersed in a shootout for the $12,500 Major payday in the showdown round. Outscoring Larsen, the victor from the 2020 Royal City Roundup who was seeking his second win in the Triple Crown, by 0.5 points, Brown delivered a critical 87.5-point ride on Top Flight to capture the victory.
