WCRA and Lazy E Arena Announce Collaboration on 2023 World Championship Junior Rodeo

GUTHRIE, Okla. — WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) and the Lazy E Arena have announced a breakthrough collaboration on the Cinch World Championship Junior Rodeo (WCJR) presented Montana Silversmiths. The two properties will join forces to host the World Championship event in Guthrie, Oklahoma the week of July 24, 2023.

One of the World’s Richest Youth Rodeo Set to Storm Shawnee July 10-15

Shawnee will again make Western sports history in 2022, when the 30th annual International Finals Youth Rodeo rides into the Heart of Oklahoma Expo July 10-15. The $250,000 event will bring Shawnee edge-of-the-seat action where youth from around the country will compete for the largest purse in the history of youth rodeo.

Expansion Includes Multiple Age Classes and Crowning Youth World Champions in 2023

AUSTIN, Texas-  Based on increased participation and demand from Youth Rodeo Athletes, WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) announced major improvements to the existing DY (Division Youth) platform including a first of its kind new World Title Race for Youth Rodeo - in multiple age classifications.

2020 National High School Finals Rodeo Kick Off at Lazy E Arena

The 2020 National High School Finals Rodeo kicked off, July 17th at 7PM at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma and will continue to run until July 23rd. We have a strong  showing of contestants rounding out to 1,404 with a little over 1800 entries. We have contestants and family joining us from all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Unfortunately, due to COVID travel restrictions members from Australia are unable to compete.
