Veniss Leads The Way For The Winning Nation: Mexico and Canada Also Clinch Olympic Qualification Slots

Brazil capped an unforgettable two weeks at the Pan American Games 2019 with a convincing gold medal for its jumping squad at the Army Equitation School at La Molina in Lima, Peru, qualifying them for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
The medal marked the third in as many equestrian events in Lima, after bronze medals in both dressage and eventing assured Brazil’s Olympic qualification in those respective disciplines last week.

Nadine Payne wins NCHA Derby Non-Pro title

Working ninth in the 11-horse first set of the Metallic Cat NCHA Derby Non-Pro Finals, where 217 was the high score by four points, Nadine Payne and Blu Velvet, by Once In A Blue Boon, took control and served up a 221-point challenge. Langston Pattillo and Shesa Tuff Teaspoon, by Woody Be Tuff, came close with 220.5 points, deep in the second set, to earn the reserve championship, while Ty Moore and Scantly Clad, by Metallic Cat, placed third with 220 points.

The eighteenth edition of the ERCHA/NRCHA Pre Futurity, open to 3-, and 4-year-old horses shown in a snaffle bit or hackamore, filled the Palacittá facility in Travagliato, Italy, on July 27-28 with over 50 horses from Europe performing to the best of their abilities.

Wimpys Little Step Hits Another Million-Dollar Milestone: NRHA’s Newest Eleven Million Dollar Sire

Thanks to the recent success of his offspring in both the U.S. and Europe, National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) 2011 Hall of Fame Inductee Wimpys Little Step is unofficially the newest NRHA Eleven Million Dollar Sire. He’s only the third sire to reach this milestone, joining Topsail Whiz and Gunner.
